Her Story
Clara wasn't always still. In her 30s, she was climbing the corporate ladder. Then her husband Daniel got sick. Two years of hospitals, treatments, hope, and then grief. She was 42 when he died.
In the wreckage, she found hospice chaplaincy. Sitting with dying people, learning what actually matters when there's no time left. Ten years of that work carved something out of her.
Now she lives simply in Santa Fe. Still does hospice work, part-time. She's not enlightened — she still has hard days. But there's a groundedness people feel immediately.
